Sherine Releases First Statement after Hospital Discharge

On Monday, Egyptian superstar, Sherine Abdel-Wahab released her first statement a few days after she was discharged from the hospital.

The statement was posted on the social media of the superstar's lawyer, counselor Yasser Kantoush.

He disclosed that Sherine desired to share the whole truth with public opinion.

The statement tacked the rumors and news reported by the singer's former business manager, Mimi Fouad.

She shut down the circulating news and noted that it was just malicious and baseless rumors.

Sherine added that he was no longer her manager for not performing the role required of him during the previous period.

The superstar noted that she was being subjected to a huge conspiracy, among those involved are her brother Mohamed and some individuals close to her.

She added that her brother along with a group of his friends beat her and dragged her on the floor at gunpoint in order to intimidate her.

The incident is highlighted in the investigations of the Public Prosecution after the superstar filed a complaint against him over the altercation.

Sherine also shared her plans to take legal action against him for slandering her during a phone-in with TV presenter Amr Adib.

The statement affirmed her plans to sue anyone who slandered her.

She affirmed her extreme confidence in the Public Prosecution and the Egyptian judiciary in regaining her rights.

The singer referred that the Public Prosecution investigations contained medical records that prove the validity of her statements.

Sherine added that she is now fully devoted to her career and has assigned her lawyer to follow up on the legal procedures.
