Speaking at the 34th National Games opening ceremony, he expressed pride in the achievements of Pakistani athletes and promised to provide resources to enable young people to excel in all types of games.
He emphasized the potential of the country's youth and pledged to distribute laptops, establish schools, and promote sports to encourage their success.
Sharif also paid tribute to those who had sacrificed their lives to combat terrorism and called for measures to prevent further incidents like those that occurred on May 9.
He applauded the organizers of the National Games for their efforts and reiterated the government's commitment to rebuilding Pakistan in all sectors.
