Saudi Crown Prince, Pakistani Chief of Staff Discuss Military Cooperation

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, held telephone talks on Monday with Pakistani Chief of Staff Qamar Javed Bajwa, according to Asharq Al-Awsat.

Talks focused on cooperation in the military field.

Bajwa official also inquired about the health of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

It is worth noting that Pakistani Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif denounced on Monday, the conviction of Kashmiri leader Muhammad Yasin Malik by the Indian court in a fake terrorism case.

“Pakistan rejected the Indian failed tactics against Yasin Malik, who is a symbol of unparalleled bravery and freedom,” Sharif tweeted.

Moreover, he urged the international community including the United Nations (UN) and the Human Rights Council to take note of India’s extra-judicial measures.

In addition, Sharif renewed his country’s continued support for the legitimate struggle of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination.
