Salam Center for Extremism Studies and Combating Islamophobia, affiliated with the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide at Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta, strongly condemned the recent ISIS suicide attack on a mosque in Oman.
The attack tragically claimed nine lives, including that of a police officer, and left over 28 others injured.
Dr. Ibrahim Negm, President of Salam Center, reiterated that Islamic law unequivocally rejects all forms of violence against innocent people. He emphasized Islam's teachings of peace, coexistence, and respect for human life, condemning acts such as slaughter, murder, and kidnapping. Dr. Negm stressed the importance of raising awareness about Islam's true nature and tolerant values, advocating for international cooperation to combat the spreading dangers of hatred and terrorism.
