Liverpool assistant coach Pep Lijnders has said on Tuesday that Mohamed Salah would not take part in Arsenal's encounter, although his condition is stable.
Lijnders affirmed that Salah's injury was not serious, but he would be ruled out of the Gunners' clash in the EFL Cup, set to be held on Wednesday.
"Mo is fine," Lijnders told Liverpoolecho newspaper."Towards the end of the game it is more precaution because the ankle gets more tired and he feels it a little bit more and we have to take him off. But he is fine, he is good," he added.

“Mo is the same ankle [he injured earlier this month], it just gets sore the longer the game goes on,” Klopp said, according to Liverpool’s official website.
“It’s not a massive issue, that will disappear one day, but it’s still a bit there at the moment,” the German coach added. Mo has made fourteen goals with the Reds in all the competitions so for during this current season, netting eight goals.
Egypt's head coach Hossam El Badry called up the iconic Egyptian star for the first time since the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, held in Egypt, to take part in the upcoming two clashes at the 2021 AFCON qualifiers against Kenya and Comoros on 14 and 18 November respectively.
