The scan, which undertaken on Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, has revealed on Monday that the Egyptian international has suffered no major injury to his ankle.
Mo Salah suffered a serious injury and was replaced by Adam Lallana during the Reds’ 2-1 victory over the Foxes after he was hacked down by Hamza Choudhury.
The English reports said that Salah would be ready for Man Utd's encounter on Sunday, October 20 after the international break. Liverpool Echo newspaper reported that Salah's recovery from this injury would not last for a long time.
"Salah suffered a twisted ankle in the challenge, and while there is no timescale set on his return, Liverpool are hopeful there is no long-term damage," the newspaper reported.
The newspaper also confirmed that Mo Salah's injury was not serious. "Scan has emerged the forward did not sustain any major issue as a result of the tackle, which only earned Choudhury a yellow card," Liverpool Echo explained.
Following Leicester City's clash at Anfield, Liverpool’s fans targeted the English midfielder Choudhury with racist abuses through social media platforms, including Twitter.
The Reds now topped the Premier League table after securing the victory in their eight rounds, achieving the full mark with 24 points.
