British newspaper Mirror has reported that Liverpool's star Mohamed Salah is set to start against Aston Villa in today's Premier League clash, despite Jurgen Klopp's confirmation about his injury.
The iconic Egyptian star suffered an ankle injury during the Reds' 2-1 victory over Tottenham in the previous round as he was replaced by Joe Gomez in the 85th minute of the game.
On his part, Liverpool's head coach Jurgen Klopp confirmed on Friday Salah's injury as Liverpool star's ankle issue continues, but he said that he is fine.
"He should be fine. He has had to do his inpidual stuff but he will be in training (on Friday)," Klopp said during a pre-match press conference

“I think it is more really annoying - for him, not me - the fact that the injury always has a bit of fluid in, and he has to deal with it, we get it out and it comes back, and stuff like that," he added. Liverpool are set to face the Villans later today in the West Midlands at 17:00 CLT.
If the Egyptian international starts the game, it will be his first clash against his fellow Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet.
