Liverpool star Mohamed Salah showed up in the Reds' training session ahead of Manchester United's encounter in the Premier League.

Mo Salah had suffered a serious injury and was replaced by Adam Lallana during the Reds’ 2-1 victory over Leicester City after he was hacked down by Hamza Choudhury.

Following Leicester City’s clash at Anfield, Liverpool’s fans targeted the English midfielder Choudhury with racist abuses through social media platforms, including Twitter.

The scan, which Mo Salah took, revealed that the Egyptian international suffered no major injury to his ankle.

"Salah returned to Liverpool training, but he trained alone according to a special programme made for the iconic Egyptian star to get him ready for United's clash," Liverpool Echo newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The training also witnessed the return of the Brazilian keeper Alisson, after he recovered from his calf injury. Alisson , who scooped the Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper award, had suffered a calf injury during the Reds’ opening game against Norwich City and was replaced by summer signing Adrian.

The Reds now topped the Premier League table after securing the victory in their eight rounds, achieving the full mark with 24 points.
