Russia's Defense Minister Russia's Defense Minister Warns Germany of Brandishing of Nuclear Threats responded to statements made by German Defense Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer on the need to contain Russia by using nuclear weapons,  stressing that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization  "NATO" is not ready for a balanced dialogue with Russia.

The German minister has made statements about the need to "contain" Russia militarily.

However,  Shoigu reminded his German  counterpart of the previous end of the attempt to approach the Russian border

It is worth noting that the Nazi German forces infiltrated deeply in the Soviet territories during the first chapters of the Second World war (WWII).

Shoigu added that against the calls (by the German minister) for the military containment of Russia, "NATO" is constantly massing its forces near the border with Russia.

He went on to say that the German defense minister should know how well this ended for Germany and Europe before the end of WW II.

The Russian Defense Minister stressed that  security in Europe can only be general (comprehensive) security without compromising Russia's interests."

Shoigu revealed that NATO is not ready for an equal dialogue on this issue today.

He indicated that the implementation of the NATO (containment) plan in Afghanistan ended in a disaster that the whole world is now dealing with.

Last Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the expansion of "NATO", noting that everything could be published under the label "training centers".

At the conclusion of the Valdai International Forum, Putin said that as for the rules, I know that there is a constitutional provision in this regard in Ukraine. Nobody forbids training centers. But under the designation of training centers, anything can be deployed.

Putin warns that missiles will appear near the city of Kharkiv, what do we do with this? Well, it's not us who stick ourselves there with our missiles, but the missiles are being pushed near the borders of Russia, which is a complicated problem.
