The exchange rate of the Russian rouble rose against major currencies on Thursday.
The US dollar traded below the level of 78 roubles, while the European single currency traded below 86 roubles, for the first time since April 3.
By the end of trading on Thursday, the USD exchange rate had fallen by 1.25 kopecks to 77.97 roubles.
While the euro exchange rate fell by 1.77 roubles to 85.95.
The Chinese yuan also fell by 20 kopecks to 11.25 roubles, according to Moscow Stock Exchange data.
