Renaissance Cinemas Opens Its First Complex in Benha with Help of Esaad Younis

On Thursday, the city of Benha celebrated the opening of Renaissance Cinemas, the first-ever cinema complex in the city of Benha, at Nile View Mall.

The opening ceremony occurred in the presence of the great producer, actress, and Al Arabia Cinema’s Chairperson and CEO, Esaad Younis.

Ahmed Sobeih, Managing Director of Al Arabia Cinema, revealed that the opening is a continuation of the expansion plan in the Egyptian governorates as part of the overall plan led by Mr. Omar AlKhawaja, Board Member & Strategic Advisor of Al Arabia Cinema, the parent company for Renaissance Cinemas.

There will be 4 new screens opening at Renaissance Cinema in Benha along with the 3 screens that have already operating since last April for the soft opening. Bringing the total number of screens to 7 at this new complex. This includes two VIP seating screens, equipped with the latest sound and picture technologies, giving audiences an elevated cinema experience.

This approach is part of Al Arabia Cinema’s plan to support the Egyptian film industry by expanding to new markets locally through the opening of cinemas in big population governorates in Egypt, and internationally through Al Arabia Cinema’s film production and distribution of Egyptian films across the Middle East.
