Egyptian actor and prankster, Ramez Galal addressed Thursday his participation in the Ramadan 2022 drama marathon with a new prank show.
Galal denied the circulating rumors that claimed he will not participate in the drama marathon, at the 2022 edition of the Joy Awards, which were hosted as part of the entertainment events of the Riyadh season 2021.
The actor affirmed his participation and noted that he was preparing to present a surprise to the audience.
The awards ceremony is one of Saudi Arabia’s biggest celebrations of the year and celebrates the work of the Arab world’s biggest stars in the fields of acting, artistic works, and music.
The event is held under the auspices of Turki Al Sheikh, the Royal Court and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Entertainment.
Galal won the award for the most-watched program for his new prank show “Ramez Aklo Tar” (Ramaz went mad).
The prankster annually held prank shows under a different theme and title, which always left the viewers’ contemplating whether he had gone too far.
