CAIRO, Jan. 22 (SEE)-New Kingdom is considered the third golden age in ancient times, which characterized by wealth and art boom, that still affects civilizations all over the world.

According to The Egyptologist Dr. Hussein Abdel Bassir, during the 18th dynasty, Egypt had a huge empire in both Asia and Africa, which contributed to enhancing its fortune and both cultural and ethnic persity.

During Amenhotep II’s reign, the pharaoh of the sun, there was an extreme art progress.

Furthermore, through Amenhotep III’s reign, and after he got married to the most smart and confident wife “Queen Tiye”, various life aspects witnessed a great progress.

Tiye gave birth to the king’s crown prince, the unified pharaoh and the philosopher Amenhotep IV, who later became Akhenaten.

She was the queen of the sky, Celebrity, and one of the role players in the foreign policy.

What indicated the special position of “Tiye” at that time was, mentioning her name in “Amarna Letters”, by which only Egypt King and his counterparts in the near east were dealing with each others.

Additionally, more than 60 memorial scarabs– one of artistic aspects in that time-, were about the relation between king Amenhotep III and his wife Queen Tiye.

Also, about 12 of these scarabs were about a lake dug specially for “Tiye” to relax and get amused.

The lake located in Habo Pool, in the western region of Tiba city in Luxor.

Other only 6 scarabs, were about the marriage of the king and other queens from different countries.

Queen Tiye approved his husband’s other marriages in order to enhance his reign in the ancient near east.
