Qatar strongly condemns massacre committed by Israeli forces in Khan Yunis

Qatar condemned in the strongest terms the massacre that the Israeli occupation army committed in Mawasi near Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip, leaving dozens of killed and injured ones. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed, in a statement reported by the Qatar News Agency on Tuesday, that the occupation forces' continued crimes against defenseless civilians, its blatant defiance of international laws and norms, and its poisonous desire for military escalation instead of the political path are an inevitable result of the silence of the international community and the absence of accountability and punishment.

In this regard, she stressed the need for concerted regional and international efforts more than ever to immediately end the aggression against the Gaza Strip, provide protection for the brotherly Palestinian people, and confront attempts to forcibly displace them.

The Ministry reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position on the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, including the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
