Qaitbay Citadel Receives FIBA World Cup Trophy

Qaitbay Citadel received FIBA World Cup trophy on Sunday, during its global tour, launched in early May from Philippines.

The magnificent Citadel was chosen as a tourist destination to receive the trophy.

Members of the board of directors of the Egyptian Basketball Union in Alexandria welcomed the trophy in the citadel.

It is worth mentioning that, the trophy will make stops in 32 countries, which will participate in the FIBA World Cup, before returning to the host countries in time for the 2023 Global Basketball Tournament.
