Egypt Extends Coronavirus Measures Till End of May

On Wednesday, The Egyptian Cabinet’s supreme committee tasked with managing the coronavirus crisis, headed by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly decided to extend COVID-19 measures till the end of May.

Yet all public gardens, parks, and beaches will be allowed to reopen.

Two weeks ago, the Egyptian Cabinet headed by Madbouly imposed new COVID-19 restrictions to curb the spread of Coronavirus cases.

The restrictions include shutting of all kinds of stores, shops, malls, clubs, cafes, and restaurants from 9 pm. Delivery service will be available 24 hours a day.

Also, all kinds of entertaining activities, concerts, gatherings, festivals, and conferences will be banned.

Regarding the Feast prayers will be allowed only in major mosques where Friday prayers are performed and children’s presence is banned.
