He added that the event will be attended by a galaxy of African countries' leaders, as well as a number of international institutions including: United Nations (UN) and World Bank (WB).
“TICAD summit is considered a key international platform for development cooperation between African countries, Japan and international institutions,” he added.
Noteworthy, TICAD 7 will be held from August 28-30, 2019 in Yokohama, Japan, under the theme “Advancing Africa’s Development through People, Technology and Innovation”.
It is expected that this summit will witness a distinguished African representation. About 40 African countries will take part in this event including: Egypt, Cameron, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Chad, South Africa, Algeria and others.
It plays a major role in facilitating and promoting high-level political dialogue between African leaders and development partners on issues related to economic growth, trade and investment, sustainable development, human security, peace and stability.
