Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly welcomed his Lebanese counterpart, Dr. Najib Mikati, emphasizing that the meetings of the Higher Joint Committee between Egypt and Lebanon were held after a lapse of six years since the ninth session convened in Beirut.
In a press conference at the headquarters of the New Administrative Capital, he affirmed that there are directives from the President to ensure the periodic convening of the Joint Committee between the two countries.
Moreover, he spoke about the depth of bilateral relations between Egypt and Lebanon.
He also announced an upcoming visit to Beirut next month, accompanied by a number of ministers, noting that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries has reached one billion dollars by 2024.
