The Barden Bellas may be back for the fourth time.
Rebel Wilson – who plays Patricia Hobart aka Fat Amy in the Pitch Perfect franchise – recently gave fans hope when asked about a fourth installment.
"Hopefully, there's a fourth one in the works. There is one being developed. I mean, I know we're older now, so I don't exactly know what the storyline's going to be. I guess they've got to get the script right first, which is the age-old dilemma," Wilson told BBC Radio 2.

"I absolutely loved making those movies – we're all still friends, all of us girls – they're just so joyful. I think what people see on the screen is just us having a laugh. It wasn't really acting because I love singing and dancing, and I just loved hanging out with that cast so, so much. It was really fun," Wilson added.
Back in 2012, the hit musical-comedy franchise hit theaters, focusing on the female a cappella group The Barden Bellas, is an all-female a cappella group at Barden University (loosely inspired by "Divisi" an all-female a cappella group at the University of Oregon) in Georgia.
Alongside Wilson, the franchise also starred the likes of Anna Kendrick, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Skylar Astin, and Ben Platt.
The musical romp spawned two sequels, "Pitch Perfect 2" (2015) and "Pitch Perfect 3" (2017), with a potential sequel being teased over the years.
The franchise returned in 2022 for the TV series "Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin", which focuses on Adam DeVine’s Allen as he heads to Germany to revive his music career. Despite being renewed for a second season, the show was canceled amid last year's Hollywood strikes.
