Petroleum Min. Urges Global Companies to Mine for Gold, Minerals in Shalateen

Minister of Petroleum Tarek Al-Mulla called upon the global companies to make their investments and mine for gold and minerals in Shalateen. 

This came during his speech at 2022 Egypt Mining Forum, during which he talked about the Petroleum ministry's efforts develop Egyptian mining sector.

Al-Mulla stressed that the improvement, achieved in the Egyptian mining sector, creates promising investment opportunities, confirming that Egypt has a distinct geological nature and owns several types of minerals, as well as, energy sources, distinguished mining cadres, the infrastructure of road and transport networks overlooking on the most important maritime trade routes globally.
