A minor collision between two Delta regional jets at New York’s LaGuardia Airport on Wednesday night left a flight attendant with minor injuries but all passengers unharmed, the airline confirmed.
The incident occurred at 9:56 p.m. local time when Endeavor flight 5155, preparing for takeoff, struck the fuselage of Endeavor flight 5047, which had just landed and was taxiing toward its gate.

Air traffic control recordings captured the pilot reporting damage to the cockpit, including a cracked windshield and malfunctioning screens.
Delta said the injured crew member was taken to a nearby hospital for precautionary checks, describing her condition as minor. No passengers were injured.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey confirmed that the collision did not disrupt airport operations, with flights continuing on schedule.
U.S. authorities, including the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board, have launched a joint investigation into the incident.
Delta emphasized that passenger safety remains its top priority and that its teams at LaGuardia are assisting travelers affected by the event.
