Authorities in Yongdian City, Fujian Province, Southern China, have evacuated 832 individuals due to flooding, according to China Central Television.

The water level at a station reached 30.07 meters this morning, surpassing the critical level, and submerging homes and commercial buildings.

China's National Headquarters for Flood Control and Drought Relief activated a Level IV emergency response to tackle flooding in Fujian, Jiangxi, and Guangdong provinces, as well as the Yangtze River and Pearl River basins and Taihu Lake.

Authorities dispatched work teams to the affected areas to provide assistance and guidance in response to the latest rounds of rainfall, according to the Ministry of Emergency Management.

Local governments have been urged to closely monitor rainfall and enhance flood response in low-lying areas and tourist sites.
