Cairo Governorate has a large number of parks that are popular with residents of Greater Cairo. There are around 300 public parks, 31 specialized parks, and 17 distinct parks, all of which are very crowded during Eid. 

Giza Zoo

The Giza Zoo is the most popular park, often receiving up to 100,000 visitors on the first day of Eid. It spans an area of 80 acres and is the largest zoo in the Republic. It is located on Murad Street, near Giza Square and Cairo University. The entrance fee is 5 pounds, and children can enter for free.

International Park

The International Park is one of the largest and most beautiful parks in Cairo. It is located on Abbas Al-Akkad Street in Nasr City and covers an area of 55 acres. The park has pavilions dedicated to different countries, each with its own emblem. It also has two cities, entertainment games for children, and a mini zoo. The entry fee is 10 pounds, and children can enter for free.

Al-Azhar Park

Al-Azhar Park is one of the most famous and largest parks in Cairo. It covers an area of 71 acres and is located near the Al-Azhar sheikhdom. It features water fountains and restaurants and offers a great view of Cairo's heritage and historical buildings. Children under 4 years old can enter for free, and ticket prices vary.

Japanese Garden

The Japanese Garden in Helwan has a Japanese-style design and water games for children. It spans an area of 10 acres and is located near the Helwan metro station. The entry fee is 10 pounds, and children can enter for free.

Orman Park

Orman Park in Giza is a peaceful park full of rare trees, flowers, and plants. It is divided into 4 small gardens and has a lake with lotus flowers.

There are several parks in the Zamalek area in Cairo that are also very popular. You can spend the Eid day in parks such as Al-Andalus Park, which overlooks the Nile, Freedom Park, located next to the Qasr El Nil Bridge on the Nile, and Gezira Park. The entrance fee for these parks is only 10 pounds.
