ORCD Commends Egypt’s Efforts to Enhance Public Governance, Sustainable Economic Growth

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has praised Egypt for its ongoing efforts to improve public governance and promote sustainable economic growth. The recognition comes as part of Egypt’s broader commitment to its national development strategy, "Egypt Vision 2030," and its alignment with the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

In a recent statement, the OECD highlighted the strides Egypt has made in strengthening institutional frameworks, increasing transparency, and promoting inclusive development. These reforms are aimed at building a resilient economy that supports long-term growth and improves the quality of life for all citizens.

“Egypt’s dedication to enhancing governance structures and implementing economic reforms is a strong example of how national strategies can align with global sustainable development goals,”  OECD said.

The OECD also noted Egypt’s efforts to foster public-private partnerships, digital transformation, and policy coherence as key drivers of progress. These initiatives are part of a comprehensive approach to modernizing the public sector and creating an enabling environment for investment and innovation.

Egypt’s Vision 2030 aims to position the country as a regional leader in sustainable development, with a focus on economic competitiveness, social justice, and environmental sustainability. By working closely with international partners like the OECD, Egypt continues to push forward with reforms that support both national and global development agendas.
