Umm Kulthum Golden Days Revived by Hologram in Opera House

Out of its believe in the importance of modern technologies and its influence on promoting creativity, the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, for the first time, will organize a concert with the technology of “ hologram “on Friday evening , 6 March at eight Pm on The Grand Theater.

This comes to restore the old beautiful days of Umm Kulthum and the atmosphere of the valuable beautiful art time.

Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, confirmed that using the modern advanced technology opens new horizons to restore and revive our old time Egyptian creativity.

The minister said the idea of this concert comes from the necessity of using modern methods to attract young people and new generations to reject and combat vulgarity, in addition to safeguarding our artistic heritage and reshaping the awareness of society.

The Ministry has chosen the great artist Umm Kulthum to be the icon of the first concert for her remarkable masterpieces, for being the icon of Arab singing and for being one of the most important icons of sensation in the Arab world.

On his part, Dr. Magdy Saber, head of the Egyptian Opera House, affirmed that the Minister of Culture supported this new experiment, indicating that it is an important addition to the opera program.

Saber pointed out that the ceremony will be directed by Jihan Morsi and led by the Maestro Mustafa Helmy and his band - design, decoration, lighting for the engineers Mahmoud Hajjaj and Yasser Shaalan.

It is worthy of note that the concert will be crowned by the participation of the two megastars Mai Farouk and Reham Abdel Hakim who will represent the character of Umm Kulthum.
