The OIC Cultural Festival: Baku Creative Week 2025 officially opened in Baku under the auspices of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), highlighting the vital role of cultural events in enriching the shared heritage of the Islamic world.
Represented by Tariq Ali Bakhit, Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian, Cultural and Social Affairs, the secretariat underscored how festivals like this foster dialogue, creativity, and solidarity among member states.
The week-long festival brings together cultural ministers, artists, innovators, and creatives from more than 50 countries, offering forums, exhibitions, film screenings, fashion shows, and digital media events. It aims to strengthen cooperation, promote cultural diversity, and generate new opportunities across creative industries — from cinema and music to gaming and design.
