Neymar Named in Brazil Squad for October's Friendlies

Brazil's head coach Adenor Leonardo Bacchi "Titi" named on Saturday Nyemar, Firmino, and Coutinho in his 23-man squad for Singapore's visit.

The five-time world champions will play two friendlies in October's international break against Senegal and Nigeria at Singapore's National Stadium.

Paris Saint-Germain superstar was named in the Selecao's squad alongside Philippe Coutinho, who recently joined Bayern Munich on a loan, and Liverpool's striker Roberto Firmino.

The 23-man squad witnessed the absence of Real Madrid's left-winger Marcelo, and his fellow Vinicius Junior.In July, Brazil ended their 12-year wait for a Copa America title by beating Peru 3-1 to win the tournament on home soil in Rio de Janeiro.

The Selecao qualified for the final after knocking out their old rivals Argentina with a 2-0 win,while Peru stunned holders Chile 3-0 to reach their first final since 1975.
