Netanyahu Says Committed to Preventing Iran from Developing Nuclear Weapons

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced today, Friday, that he had spoken with US Vice President Kamala Harris and discussed several issues of common interest.

Netanyahu said on his Twitter account: “I spoke over phone with Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris, who congratulated me on the great success of the Coronavirus vaccination campaign being conducted in Israel,” adding, “I agreed with her to form a joint team that would enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of research and technological development on combating the Coronavirus, water, green energy, and other fields."

He added: "I told her that we will continue enhancing intelligence and security cooperation with the United States, and that I am totally committed to preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons that are meant for our destruction."
