Nelly Karim to Participate in Ramadan 2022

Egyptian actress, Nelly Karim is set to participate in Ramadan 2022 drama marathon.

The series will be produced under the working title of "Ahwal Shakhsiya" (Personal Status).  It is helmed by director Mohamed El Adl, written by well-known writer and journalist Ibrahim Eissa, and produced by Gamal El Adl.

The series witnesses the second collaboration between Karim and Mohamed El Adel. They collaborated for the first time in the 2017 TV series "Li Aa'la Se'er".

The actress participated last Ramadan with the TV series “Ded El Kassr”.

It also starred Lekaa Elkhamissi, Mustafa Darwish, Hamza El Eily, Tara Emad, Hisham Ismail, Arfa Abdel Rassoul, and others.

The series was written by Amr Al-Dali and directed by Ahmed Khaled.

Karim is currently filming her new TV series "El Gesr" (The Bridge). She is also set to star in films “Bi 100 Wish”, “Saqr W Kanaria”, and “Al Serb”.

The actress will also make a cameo appearance in the TV series “Waed Iblis”.

The series stars Amr Youssef, Razan El Moghrabi, Aïcha Ben Ahmed, Ahmed Magdy, Maha Abou Ouf, and others.

“Waed Iblis” consists of 6 episodes and is set to debut on a streaming service in November.

Karim is set to collaborate with talented director Peter Mimi in an untitled TV series and in Amir Karara’s highly-anticipated sequel to the 2019 film “Casablanca”.

She made a cameo appearance in the first film and is set to play the female lead role opposite Karara in the sequel.
