Nelly Karim, L’azurde Support Breast Cancer Fighters

In Celebration of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month (Pink October), L’azurde gave the breast cancer fighters in the Baheya hospital some iconic gold jewelry from their famous Miss L’ collection.

The jewelry was presented to the fighters in Baheya’s annual breast cancer awareness event held in the organization’s headquarters.

This year’s event focused on supporting the breast cancer fighters mentally and reminding them how strong and important they are not just for themselves but also for the Egyptian family and society as a whole.

The event had a very impressive list of visitors including Amr Ellissy, L’azurde and Nelly Karim who is a big supporter to the Baheya Foundation for Early Detection & Treatment of Breast Cancer and its cause.

Laila Salem Baheya’s granddaughter announced that this annual event is considered to be the biggest support to the cancer fighters who represent the Egyptian woman everywhere. She also welcomed Nelly Karim and expressed her gratitude for the actress’ constant support to the foundation and the cause.

Salem also confirmed that the celebrities’ continuous support and presence is the push that keeps the foundation going forward.

On his part, Engineer Tamer Shawky the chairman of the Baheya hospital welcomed the presence of Karim and L’azurde. He also expressed his happiness with L’azurde’s support to the cancer fighters.

This is the second time that the company celebrates the fighters and presents them with gifts for the Pink October. Shawky then went to thank the famous actress for being a constant part of the Baheya family.

Engineer Maged Hamdy, a member of the hospital’s board announced that October is known as the Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Thus, the Baheya foundation organizes different events like Baheya’s Boutique where they give away new clothes to cheer and support the cancer fighters.

He also mentioned that the foundation’s help will improve and expand significantly after the opening of the second Baheya hospital in Sheikh Zayed City.
