Morocco's Football Gets Green Light for July Restart

Minister of Youth and Sports in Morocco Othman El Firdaouss on Tuesday said that the Moroccan League have been given the go-ahead to restart at the end of July.

All football activities in the North African country have been suspended since three months ago due to coronavirus pandemic.

In statements, the minister said that the sports ministry coordinated with Royal Moroccan Football Federation, interior and health ministries resuming the Moroccan League.

He also added that all clubs will resume their training session at the end of the ongoing week.

It is worth mentioning that Moroccan clubs Wydad and Raja qualified for the CAF Champions League semi-finals.
