Palestinian pop singer Mohammed Assaf has welcomed his first child into the world.
Assaf took to social media on Monday evening to share the news.
He added that his wife Reem Ouda, gave birth days ago to a baby named Rayan- the name of the Moroccan child who had been stuck in the well for about 5 days and passed away on Saturday, despite relentless attempts to save him.
The authorities managed to bring the child out of the well and rushed him to the hospital, yet, hours later, he was confirmed dead.
