Mohamed Ramadan's “Harley” film led the Eid box office, with an estimated LE 9.633.618 in earnings between Friday and Saturday.
The movie was released on the first day of Eid Al Fitr after the massive success of his Ramadan series "Gafar Omda", starring May Kasab, Iman Asy, and Ahmed Dash.
Ramadan’s latest hit film was followed by Egyptian comedian actor Chico's “Ibn al-Hajj Ahmed”, which came in second with revenues of LE 5.182.035.
Produced by Yossif Tahir and directed by Moataz El Tony, “Ibn al-Hajj Ahmed” follows the story of a young man named Ahmad, who works in his father's grocery store, gets into great trouble, and finds himself facing a dangerous gang, which requires him to cooperate with a young woman, Nabila, and face the danger together.
“Ibn al-Hajj Ahmed” marks Chico's second collaboration with El Tony after their hit film "Qalb Ommoh" (His Mother's Heart) and comedy TV series "El Leaba" (The Game).
It's worth mentioning that “Harley” stars Mahmoud Hemeida, Mai Omar, Ahmad Dash, Hosny Sheta, and May Kassab.
