Egyptian superstar Mohamed Hamaki performed Friday evening at 30 June Stadium's New Cairo Arena in New Cairo, amid a large crowd.
The concert is the first of the Layali Misr chain concerts presented by Egyptian and Arab superstars over the summer in Egypt.
During the event, Hamaki shared an update on his highly anticipated album.
“The new album will be released in mid-July, which means in 10 days,” he said.
The record will consist of 10 to 12 songs and includes a duet as well as sees the pop star teaming up with Ayman Bahgat Kamar on more than one song.
The megastar released his last album “Ya Fatenny” in August 2021.
Hamaki, born on November 4, 1975, is one of Egypt’s and the Middle East’s most talented male singers.
He released his first single in 1997 and his first album “Khalina Neesh” (Let’s Live) in 2003.
Hamaki’s music career consisted of more than a dozen songs and 9 albums.
The acclaimed singer won many awards including the “Best Arabia Act” award at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2010 and the “Best Singer” award in 2008 at MTV Music Awards.
