As part of the Tourism and Antiquities Ministry's strategy for digital transformation, the “Mobile Application” of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat has been updated.
Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the Museum Authority, explained that the updating process includes the latest information about the artifacts displayed in the museum, and its internal maps, as well as the services provided to visitors.
NMEC’s latest mobile app aims at providing the ultimate guide to the museum for visitors, as well as a piece of in-depth information for those seeking more about the history of NMEC’s collections, according to Ghoneim.
Lately, NMEC has announced the release of a mobile App for the museum, in cooperation with IPMagIX, which can be accessed by Google Play and App Store, as a part of NEMC’s agenda to implement the latest technologies to enhance the museum experience.
