Meryl Streep to Star in TV Series "Extrapolations"

American veteran actress Meryl Streep has joined the cast of  Scott Z. Burns’ climate change anthology series "Extrapolations" for Apple Plus.

It will also feature Sienna Miller, Kit Harington, Tahar Rahim, Matthew Rhys, Daveed Diggs, Gemma Chan, David Schwimmer, and Adarsh Gourav.

The Apple TV+ series, which is now in production, will consist of eight interconnected episodes.

"Extrapolations" depicts how the upcoming changes to the planet effects love, faith, work, and family on a personal and human scale.

Burns servers as the series writer, director, and executive producer. Ellenberg, Greg Jacobs, Dorothy Fortenberry, and Lindsey Springer also executive produces.

Streep’s role is unknown, but Miller is set to play marine biologist Rebecca Shearer, Harington plays Nicholas Bilton, the CEO of an industrial giant, Rahim plays Ezra Haddad, a man struggling with memory loss, and Rhys stars as Junior, a real estate developer.

It will also feature Diggs as a Marshall Zucker, a Rabbi in South Florida, Chan playing Natasha Alper, a single mother and micro-finance banker, Schwimmer starring as Harris Goldblatt, a father to a teenage daughter, and Gourav as Gaurav, a driver for hire.
