A documentary series based on the journey of rap star Grammy-winning musician, Megan Thee Stallion is in development.
Nneka Onuorah, who has worked with the likes of President Obama and Lizzo, will direct the series.
The project will explore her path to success and how she overcame personal hurdles to thrive professionally.
The series will also feature rare archival footage and a fresh verité video to highlight the rapper’s rise from her upbringing to a pop culture sensation.
Time Studios and Roc Nation are teaming on the multiple-part documentary series.
Megan Thee Stallion previously was included on Time’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world.
The docuseries is the latest for Time Studios, which previously produced Netflix’s "Jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy", Aretha Franklin concert doc "Amazing Grace" and "John Lewis: Good Trouble".
