Kylian Mbappé continued to cement his place among France's football greats after equaling Thierry Henry and Fabien Barthez for the most FIFA World Cup appearances in the history of the French national team.
The Real Madrid forward started France's final Group C match against Norway at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, making his 17th World Cup appearance for Les Bleus.
With that milestone, Mbappé joined legendary goalkeeper Fabien Barthez and all-time great striker Thierry Henry at the top of France's all-time World Cup appearance list.
The 27-year-old now has the opportunity to become France's outright record holder when Les Bleus begin their Round of 32 campaign, having already secured qualification for the knockout stage.
Already one of the defining players of his generation, Mbappé continues to add to his remarkable international legacy, strengthening his status as one of the greatest players in the history of the French national team.
