Paris Saint-Germain F.C have confirmed on Monday that their strikers Kylian Mbappé and Edinson Cavani would not be among PSG's squad for Real Madrid encounter.
Mbappé and Cavani have not recovered from their injuries and they are set to return to PSG's training sessions in the upcoming week.
PSG are set to clash against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday in the opening game as both teams were pooled in Group A, alongside Club Brugge, and Galatasaray.
The French club will also miss Neymar due to the suspension he received for his statements about the referee in the last year.
The Brazilian international returned to Thomas Tuchel's side after a four-month absence due to his injury. Neymar's late goal against Strasbourg secured their victory on Saturday in the French league.
The UEFA Champions League is scheduled to kick-off on Tuesday. In August, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) revealed the Champions League group stage draw for the 2019-20 season.
Last year, Liverpool managed to lift the title after beating Tottenham 2-0 in the final game.
