The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has revealed on Thursday the Champions League group stage draw for the 2019-20 season and the Uefa awards.
Holders Liverpool were drawn in Group E. alongside Napoli, Salzburg, and Genk.
Lionel Messi was selected as the Uefa Forward of the Season for the fifth time after scoring more goals than anyone else in the competition last season.
Frenkie de Jong won the midfielder of the Season award for the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League campaign following his performances for Ajax.
Liverpool's defender was named as Uefa Defender of the 2018-09 season for his efforts last season with the Reds, while the Reds' keeper Allison was selected as the best keeper in the previous year. Last year, the Reds claimed the title after defeating Tottenham in 2-0.
