On Sunday evening, French President Emmanuel Macron called on his government ministers to continue all efforts and do their best to restore order and calm in the country.
Informed sources that participated in the meeting which Macron held at the "Elysee" Palace to assess the security situation following the ongoing violence in the country for the fifth night in a row, said that the French President stressed the need for the government's continued support for the police, gendarmerie, judges, firefighters and elected officials who have mobilized all their forces day and night over the past five days in order to restore calm in the country.
During the meeting, Macron called on Prime Minister Elizabeth Bourne to also receive the heads of parliamentary blocs today, Monday.
