Leicester City Fight Back to Upset Tottenham 2-1

James Maddison's 85-minute stunner snatched a 2-1 victory for Leicester City over Tottenham in the Premier League.

Harry Kane gave the early lead for the Spurs in the 29th minute after he fired a right-foot shot from the center of the box to the bottom left corner. In the 64th minute, the Video Assistant Referee(VAR) canceled Serge Aurier's 64-minute goal.

Five minutes later, Ricardo Pereira netted the equalizer, when he rammed the ball into the Spurs net with a great right-foot shot from the center of the box.

James Maddison sealed the victory in the 85th minute to when he scored the stunner through firing a low shot into the net from over 20 yards.

Spurs' today's result mirrored their previous game with North London Rivals Arsenal, when Aubameyang’s second-half equalizer ended the pulsating north London derby between Tottenham and the Gunners in a 2-2 draw after a tasty game.

Spurs made an ideal start to this season by demolishing Aston Villa 3-1 in the opening game of Premier League, while Arsenal kicked off the season with a 1-0 victory over Newcastle United.

Leicester City now ranks third with eleven points as they won three games, drew in two and lose one, whereas Tottenham now ranks fifth with eight points as they won two clashes, drew in two and lose two encounters.
