The new movie, "Spider-Man: No Way Home," has made a historic achievement since the beginning of the emerging Coronavirus a year ago.

The movie's revenues made $50 million at the box office in America, on its first showing on Thursday, to be the third-largest opening in cinema history.

The movies before it are the "Avengers: Endgame", which earned $60 million dollars, and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", which earned $57 million on its first show day, according to the American Network CNBC.

Box office analysts expect "Spider-Man: No Way Home" to be on its way to being the first movie to cross $100 million during the Coronavirus pandemic, and to bring in $200 million by the end of the week.

The movie succeeded in getting audiences back to cinemas, even with the spread of the new "Omicron" mutant.

The movie was positively received by critics, who called it a "celebration of Spider Man’s popularity.”
