SEE-July29th :Chief Superintendent Rob Griffin of Nottinghamshire Police and British police officer who are investigating death of 18-year-old Mariam Moustafa in Nottingham visited Egypt days ago to update Mariam's family with the progress of the investigations.

Egyptian engineering student Moustafa died 3 weeks later after she was brutally beaten by six women on bus for no clear reason.

"We understand the depth of interest, sadness and concern in Egypt and the UK over Mariam’s death, and remain committed to see that justice is done", Griffin said.

He added, "During the investigation, we have meticulously gathered all of the available evidence and have been mindful throughout to explore the perception that this attack may have been motivated by hate."

“We have now provided the Crown Prosecution Service with all evidence, they can now consider it and reach a decision over the next steps in the case." Chief Superintendent said.

Griffing continued saying, "I have been in regular contact with Mariam's family and their legal representative. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has been in close touch with Egyptian authorities to keep them fully informed of the progress of the investigation.”
