Kuwaiti Minister of Public Works Rana Abdullah Al-Faris issued an order on Saturday banning the entry of commercial ships loaded with goods to and from Israel into Kuwaiti territorial waters, according to Al-Anbaa newspaper.

The ban prohibits entry permits that are required for ships carrying goods to and from Israel, even if the goods transported from Israel are brought to another country outside Kuwait.

Under Kuwaiti law, inpiduals and companies cannot enter into agreements with organizations or persons living in Israel and cannot transact financially or commercially with persons who have an interest in Israel, even if they live outside Israel.

It is also illegal to import, exchange or possess any Israeli goods, merchandise or products, whether received directly or indirectly. Products may also not include any Israeli product.
