Egyptian actor Karim Abdel Aziz revealed new details about his upcoming film "Leeb Eyal" (Children's Play) with his long-time collaborator Mona Zaki.
Abdel Aziz disclosed that "Leeb Eyal" will begin preparations in the coming period.
“The work shed light on the sacrifice of husbands," he continued. "There is a love story between me and Mona Zaki, and we will be exposed to many comedic situations during the events, as the story is set within a romantic comedy framework."
"Leeb Eyal" reunites Abdel Aziz and Zaki for the first time in 14 years. They last collaborated in the 2009 film "Waleed EL Emm".
The project marks the fourth collaboration between the duo after working on films "Waleed EL Emm", "Abo Aly" (2005), and "Idhak Al Sora Tetlaa Hilwa"(1998).
The film hails from director Tarek Al Eryan and is expected to be released sometime later this year.
"Leeb Eyal" is set to begin production after Al Eryan finishes shooting the long-awaited film "Welad Rizk 3: El Qadya" and Abdel Aziz completes shooting the TV series “Al-Hashashin”.
