Despite all international calls for calm, the breach of the ceasefire agreement in the Nagorno Karabakh region continues for the sixth consecutive day.

In a sharp escalation of those violations Thursday, Azeri President Ilham Aliyev announced that his forces had liberated 40 villages in the battles with Armenia, adding that the conflict there would be resolved in a military-political manner.

On the other hand, the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, stressed that Karabakh is a red line for his country in the conflict with Azerbaijan.

It is noteworthy that the two sides are still exchanging accusations about the violation of the truce in Karabakh.

The Deputy Commander of the Armenian Air Force announced, according to the "Armen Press" agency, that the Air Defense Forces  shot down an Azerbaijani SU-25 warplane.

In the meantime, the Ministry of Defense in Karabakh indicated that 49 of its forces were killed during defensive operations against Azerbaijani attacks today, Thursday, bringing the death toll to 604.

Concurrently, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) announced the arrival of about 200 Syrian fighters, in a new batch, to participate in the military operation that was sparked on September 27.

SOHR added that the number of fighters who arrived in Azerbaijan rose to 1650.

It also pointed out to the killing of at least 126 members of the pro-Turkish factions participating in the Karabakh operations.

In a report published on Wednesday, Karabakh human rights defender Artak Biglerian condemned Azerbaijan's use of cluster munition rockets, especially in the bombing of Stepanakert, Shusha, or Hadrut.
