Jumia launches "Shop now, Pay Later" installment plan

CAIRO, Sept 23 (SEE)- Electronic commerce company Jumia, and Aman Financial Services agreed to launch installment services on the company's website.

Hisham Safwat, CEO of Jumia Egypt said that the company launched the initiative under the slogan Shop Now & Pay Later, explaining that the installment system works to close the gap between monthly income through a 36 months smart system for installment.

CEO of Aman Financial Services Hazem Moghazy said that the company expanded its activities to facilitate the customer's access to any commodity through150 branches in 15 governorates.

The new service requires providing a copy of the customer's ID and Electricity or gas bills not later than three months old.

The service is also available to workers in the public and private sectors, pensioners, self-employed, property owners, deposit holders, and investment certificates holders.
