July 26: Extremely Hot, Humid Weather Expected for Egypt on Sat, Cairo 41°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather will prevail in most of the country during Saturday's daylight hours.

Hot and humid weather is also expected to hit the North Coast.

The weather will seem hotter due to the high humidity levels, which will push up the heat index 2-4 degrees.

The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo.

Meteorologist also predicts that Egypt will continue experiencing a gradual temperature rise.

Wind will occur occasionally in the Northwest Coast at interment periods.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves ranging between 1 and 1.75 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.

The Red Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.75 meters in height, varying between southwest and northeast surface winds.

Moderately hot and humid weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early hours.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 41°C in Cairo, 34°C in Alexandria, 31°C in Marsa Matruh, 41°C in Sohag, 42°C in Qena, and 44°C in Aswan.
