Apple TV released Thursday a new trailer for Oscar-winning American actress Jennifer Lawrence's new movie "Causeway".
The low-key drama stars Lawrence as Lynsey, an Army vet who is forced to reckon with traumas both physical and psychological after suffering a grave head injury when a vehicle was destroyed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.
Struggling to recover from her injuries back at home in New Orleans, Lynsey is also at odds with the experience.
As she tries to determine where she belongs, Lynsey forges a friendship with a mechanic called James, played by Brian Tyree Henry.
Lila Neugebauer directed the project from a script by Ottessa Moshfegh, Luke Goebel, and Elizabeth Sanders.
The movie is produced by Lawrence and Justine Ciarrocchi, with Neugebauer, Jacob Jaffke, Sophia Lin, Patricia Clarkson, Kirk Michael Fellows, and Christopher J. Surgent serving as executive producers.
"Causeway" will premiere in select theaters and globally on Apple TV+ on November 4.
